Established in 1964, under the inspiration of Bharatha Kesari Padmabhooshan Sri. Mannathu Padmanabhan and upgraded in 1968, NSS College, Cherthala is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of the UGC with B+ grade. Our College affiliated to the University of Kerala, has an enrolled strength of nearly 1500 students, 57 teaching staff and 53 non-teaching staff. With 10 degree courses, 2 PG courses and innumerable extra-curricular concerns, the college provides ample opportunities for the students to distinguish themselves in their academic performances and to excel in their extra-curricular activities.

NSS College Alumni (Old Students) Association :
NSS College Alumni Association came into existance on 09-12-2000 inspired by the initiative and guidance of the former Principal Late Prof. D. Mohanan Nair. Inaugurated by the former Principal Dr. N. Gopalakrishnan Nair, the Association had a modest beginning with an initial strength of nearly 300 old students. Now it has matured into an august assembly of more than 5100 old students who still keep nostalgic memories of their good old Alma-Mater.
